I used audacity to record this sound with no editing. I used turtle beaches x12 to record. The sound was from an old antique wind-up toy mechanism (music box) that was made in japan. I covered the metal with my finger to change tone of the song. The song played on the music box was called "close to you". It's a music i made for game, the scene is used in characters memorize their childhood. This is music box version, and this is half of the music for people edit the song further more. Found a half-broken wind-up rotating christmas tree music box. . . Thing. . . Raw 24/96 ms recording; be sure to decode before use. Left channel is mid, right is side. To do this manually you should separate the channels to two mono tracks, duplicate the side track and invert the duplicate. Pan the side tracks hard left and right, and mix with the mono mid channel. Or use a plugin to do it for you :d.

This is a very short excerpt of carnatic music. This sound is basically used for a demonstration of the importance of loudness and timbre in melody. A synthesized melody sound and a monotonized version of that sound will be soon linked here in the description.

This excerpt demonstrates a kind of gamaka (sphuritam) in carnatic music. Description-sphuritam: starting on a svara higher than its own position and quickly descending to its position which is repeated.
